During a lecture with Helen Felcey I was introduced to the watchword technique, which is a process of self discovery using a sequence of words and associations. Below you can find the words I have chosen on the connections I made.
"The 'Watchword' technique enables you to identify your psychological type, explore the structure and dynamics of your personality, and gain greater understanding of your inner self and your personal relationships" (Chandler, 2015)

In Conclusion to the watchword technique the three words with the most personal meaning to me are:
transformation, interactive & radiant.
For me this process was a double-edged sword; i could only think of words within my current vocabulary and therfore I found myself repeating the same words and eventually turned to thesaurus. So, I was no longer creating the words, moreover, finding the words that have personal meaning to me.
Metamorphosis: A change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one.
Spontaneous: Performed or occurring as a result of a sudden impulse or inclination and without premeditation or external stimulus.
Change: Make or become different
Process: A series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end
This investigation has highlighted new words that may shine a new light on my creative approach; metamorphosis, process and spontaneous are fantastic words. If I designed something that through a process had a spontaneous metamorphosis how cool would that be!?
Again this investigation has highlighted new words and new interpretations which help me think about my end goal from different points of view; influencing, to way & responding Bring another level of meaning to the word interactive. Creating a responsive surface or a surface that can be influenced by your behaviour or movements? a two way relationship. Having a relationship with the outcome!?
1) Sending out light; shining or glowing brightly
2) (Of a person or their expression) clearly emanating great joy, love, or health
3) (Of an appliance) designed to emit radiant energy, especially for cooking or heating: a radiant heater
Emanating: Give out or emit (a feeling, quality, or sensation)
Energy: The strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity
and finally radiance investigating radiant has Giving me an interesting idea, personally I imagine a warm glowing light when I thinking radiant.
however something radiant could potentially be cold if it gives out sensations of pleasure or happiness? Maybe?; Emanating, Joy & energy are quite personable characteristics potentially even emotions could a light or product trigger an emotion could you light emanate joy!?
